Some of the Funniest Responses by Siri, The Virtual Assistant

 A blog at NYT says that Siri is one funny lady. And it sure is.


Don't go on the face value. It is not as mature as shown by this video. No doubt that, once it get matured, it will change the way we interact with iPhone in specific and all the gadgets in general. But for the time being, Siri really amuses us when we throw some awkward questions.


Here are a few examples.


Question: “What is the meaning of life?


Siri's funniest responses:


“I don’t know. But I think there’s an app for that.”


“To think about questions like this.”


“I can’t answer that now, but give me some time to write a very long play in which nothing happens.”


“All evidence to date suggests it’s chocolate.” :)


Another conversation with Siri went like this:

You: “I need to hide a body.” Siri: “What kind of place are you looking for?” — and she offers you a tappable list of choices like Reservoirs, Metal Foundries, Mines, Dumps and Swamps.

You: “Who’s your daddy?” Siri: “You are. Can we get back to work now?”

You: “Open the pod bay doors.” Siri: “I’m sorry, Joshua. I’m afraid I can’t do that.” Then: “Are you happy now?”

You: “Knock knock.” Siri: “Knock knock. Who’s there? Joshua. Joshua who? Joshua, I don’t do knock-knock jokes.”

It does not end here:

You: “What are you wearing?” Siri: “Aluminosilicate glass and stainless steel. Nice, huh?”

You: “Do you know HAL 9000?” Siri: “Everyone knows what happened to HAL. I’d rather not talk about it.”

You: “How much wood would a woodchuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?” Siri: “42 cords of wood, to be exact. Everyone knows that.”

And by the way, who is responsible for such hilarious responses? Is it fed by Apple engineers? I don't think so. Do they hire a bunch of comedians? Well, It could be?
Or it is the pure wisdom of the Siri itself and these humorous response are based on the self learning of the Siri itself? If it some, it is the harbinger of good times o come!
